‘Moulin Renaudiots’ visits Swellendam

If you are in the market for a little trip to Burgundy we can highly recommend ‘Moulin Renaudiots’, the wonderful guest-house owned by Evelyne & Trevor Morgan. The house is set in a 17th century watermill and has been totally renovated, offering a high level of comfort and modern facilities. Five large guest rooms combine wood and stone with contemporary rural furniture & overlook peaceful gardens and surrounding hills. And just like at Augusta de Mist you can join Evelyne & Trevor for ‘table d’hôtes’ – dinner served on the terrace or in the main lounge. The guesthouse is the perfect base for visiting major Burgundy sites such as the cathedral of Autun and the Bibracte museum, and is a short distance from the vineyards of the ‘Côte de Beaune’ and the regional park of the Morvan. We just know where we would like to take our next holiday…

Evelyne & Trevor are just the friendliest people their passion for food and hospitality is infectious and inspiring. We could spend days exchanging kitchen tales and finding joy in our shared experiences in the same industry, albeit a 12 hour flight apart.
